CALORIE NEEDS!..........

#Your genetic blueprint.........The metabolic rate that you inherit from your family in part determines the number of calories that your body needs to function,and you can't change this factor.That's why your friend who is at the same height and weight,and activity level as you are may be able to eat more calories than you and never gain weight.

Metabolic diseases that tend to be inherited,specifically those that affect your thyroid,can cause you to burn calories very quickly or very slowly.Though not as common as some people think,a malfunctioning thyroid gland can sabotage your best weight loss efforts

#Your body shape and the shape you're in..........Your body shape and size affect the number of calories you need.Muscle burns more calories than body fat does.So if you 're solid and have a greater proportion of muscle to fat,your metabolism is higher.Likewise,if you have more body and less muscle,your metabolism is lower,and you have a greater tendency to store fat than someone who is tall and thin..

Remember if you 're large,you burn more calories doing an activity than an average-size person of the same sex and age does.The more you weight, the more calories your body uses.That is one reason that men,who are usually bigger and weigh more than women,need more calories

NOTE.....THE CHAINS OF HABIT ARE TOO WEAK TO BE FELT UNTIL THEY ARE TOO STRONG TO BE BROKEN.
